Once you’re ready to secure your date, a signed contract and retainer officially lock everything in. From there, we’ll start planning your timeline, shot list, and all the little details that help your photos feel personal and meaningful. I’m with you every step of the way to make the process smooth, enjoyable, and tailored to your day.
02. Do you travel for destination weddings?
I’m always honored when couples invite me to travel for their wedding. Whether you’re planning a celebration in the mountains, at a dreamy destination, or in a cozy venue a few hours away, I happily pack my gear and come along to capture your day. Travel ensures I’m fully present and prepared, so I include all travel details up front—such as mileage, lodging when needed, and any additional travel requirements—so there are no surprises along the way. My goal is to make the experience smooth, comfortable, and stress-free while giving you beautiful, heartfelt images no matter where your love story takes you.

I also encourage couples to designate a family member or wedding party helper who knows everyone by name; this keeps the process moving quickly and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, I guide each grouping with clear, gentle direction so everyone knows exactly where to stand and what to do. I start with the largest groups and work down to smaller ones, which keeps us on schedule and helps you get back to celebrating sooner. My goal is to make family photos feel easy, organized, and enjoyable—capturing all the important people in your life without the chaos or confusion.

Yes! I absolutely offer engagement sessions, and they’re one of my favorite parts of the wedding experience. Engagement sessions are the perfect way for us to get comfortable working together before the big day while capturing this exciting season of your life. They’re relaxed, fun, and full of natural moments—whether we’re wandering through a beautiful location, chasing golden hour light, or simply documenting the way you two connect. Many of my wedding packages include an engagement session, and it can also be booked on its own.
